Paul Lavelle Foundation
The Paul Lavelle Foundation is a charity established in memory of Paul Lavelle, who tragically lost his life in a domestic abuse incident in May 2017.
Formed by Paul’s friends and family, the charity raises awareness of male domestic abuse and provides direct support to men experiencing or recovering from abuse.
The Foundation offers therapeutic appointments, emotional support, guidance, and signposting to specialist services, as well as delivering healthy relationship education in schools, colleges and workplaces.

Merseyside Domestic Violence Service
Merseyside Domestic Violence Service Ltd (MDVS), previously known as Chrysalis, has been established since 2003 and has a track record of serving the most vulnerable members of communities in Liverpool.

LDAS is a women-led, women only registered charity which has been delivering support to all women and girls in Liverpool since 2006.
Founded by CEO Paula Nolan, she quickly identified a service which specialised in the support of women and girls whose lives were being impacted by domestic abuse.
LDAS provides advice, support, advocacy, therapeutic and practical help to women and girls via one-to-one support, counselling and group programmes.

SLDAS was founded in 1998 to support women in the Speke and Garston areas of Liverpool.
The organisation consists of trustees who provide strategic leadership and support to a small team of staff and around a dozen local women who offer their time as volunteer support workers, counsellors and daily office support.
SLDAS offers a range of services including one-to-one support, group programmes, holistic wellbeing support and self-esteem workshops.

National Domestic Abuse Helpline
The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is a free, confidential, 24 hour service offering support, advice and guidance to anyone experiencing domestic abuse.
Run by Refuge, the helpline is staffed by specially trained female advisers who listen without judgement and help callers explore their options, increase their safety, and access specialist services or refuge accommodation.
Support is available in multiple languages, with additional services including British Sign Language interpretation.

The Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service provides support to high-risk victims and survivors of domestic abuse in Liverpool. This service offers a range of assistance, including safety planning, crisis intervention, home security applications, emotional and practical support, court support and advocacy.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service (MFRS) provides vital guidance to help prevent drowning and keep communities safe around open water.
